baked potato and a green salad

Good question.......what I like to eat with my steak restricts me to making my own at home, as no restaurant would have the side dishes to please me.......at any rate, once the steak is done, I love to have sauted sliced mushrooms reduced with some red wine, and some either peas with pearl onions or some sweet corn......and of course, I love some crumbled blue cheese on my steak, while it's still hot off the grill..........hmmmmmmm guess I'm stopping at the grocery tonight after work and guess what I'm having?? You got it!! Hope that helps!!!

There is plenty of ways to make steak, You just have to be creative! Normally i make my own marinades for this occasion.
Preferably i would use spices like steak seasoning marinade wich softens the meat! add a lil pepper and salt, garlic powder or fresh garlic minced. I always experiment with different seasonings and always they turn out pretty good on the first time.

i'm sick of using gravy, it makes you fat. the trick is to cook the steak until it's rare/medium rare and the juices act as a sauce on their own.
when it comes to salad, you have to be sacrifice a lot to fit it on the same plate. i find about 6 or 7 cherry tomatoes sliced in half or about 3 normal tomatos cut into quarters does the trick. throw some watercress on there too if you feel like some greenery

baked potato, sauted mushrooms, a nice salad.. DO NOT ruin a steak by putting steak sauce on in (ie A-1, heinz 57, etc) savor the flavor of the meat, not some crappy sauce

Seven layer salad!
Layer in a bowl; torn iceburg lettuce, shredded carrots, crumbled bacon, onions (to taste) frozen peas, and shredded cheese. Use a mixture of mayo, milk and sugar for the dressing; you need to experiment to get the flavor you like. Put the dressing on top and garnish with shredded cheese mix before serving. YUMMY

Heinz 57, A-1, or worcestershire Sauce.

Heinz 57 also makes for a better ketchup substitute.
