Well, you are quite overweight for your height, I'm not going to lie and say you aren't. But most importantly you need to have your body fat percentage checked. A healthy body fat percentage for a woman would be under 30%-32%. So if it is more than this, you need to lower it with diet and exercise. Also your waist measruement should not be over 32 inches, or you are at an increased risk of heart disease and diabetes. Probably aim to get down to at least a size 12 and under 150lb, as this is a realistic goal. HTH : )

I'll be blunt because I am overweight too. Yes, you are considered fat. However, how overweight you are depends on your muscle to fat ratio and your frame. I am 25 pounds overweight and it's hard, but I have taken and active role to shape up by exercising at a gym 4-5 times a week and watching my intake of bad foods. I hope you will take care and lose the weight.

At 5'2" and 176 lbs, you would have a Body Mass Index of about 32. That is considered to be obese, and you should probably see what you can do to lose some of that weight.

surely, it would count on your body composition. once you've extra fat than different mandatory tissues (i.e. lean muscle, bone mass etc) then you truthfully will be seen fairly overweight. yet judging through what you've written down, you sound tremendous to me. Im your height, and that i weigh one hundred forty. ive been informed that im skinny, so your probable accepted. no concerns.

I am sure your average, where ever you live, I am sure no one criticizes you, unless you live somewhere like Hollywood, where it probably wouldn't be average, but average doesn't mean HEALTHY. Who cares what every thinks, if you don't FEEL right, then you should get in-shape, do it for you.
