Check the charging system output with a voltmeter. A failing alternator on these particular vehicles is harder to notice, due to the fact, they have TWO batteries. The most obvious sign, is when engine cranking becomes gradually slower, due to the batteries' cranking amperage depleting.

My stabb.. i ask your self once you've a relay or fuse that receives warm . Or a connection or cantact that receives jarred for the period of street vibrations. I had a truck that no you may tell me why it died each and every once in a lengthy time period [ a pair of times per week] and wouldnt commence till eventually it cooled down. It replaced right into a clip on the coil that exspanded and decreased in length and the connections needed wiped clean. I bumped off the wires from the clip and adjusted with previous form ends with nut and washer. previouse answerer gave me an theory. [engine to body floor strap] verify it and sparkling. extraordinary stuff occurs even as that isnt correct.

the flickering light is caused by a lack of charging from the alternator it probably has a diode going bad, check the output voltage its probably low and the only way to fix is replace or rebuild the alternator
