I saw a cat by the name of Jiaozi on a Chinese website for animals that need to be rehomed. Jiaozi is the most popular kind of Chinese dumplings. It is a bit like a cornish pasty but is much smaller. Also it is steamed and not baked. It is a symbol of luck as it is shaped like a piece of gold. Since ginger is sometimes included in jiaozi, it is suitable for a ginger tom.

I found a kitten who was around 8 weeks on the sidewalk across from an apartment building I lived in many years ago. He was a real ball of energy, but didn't get along with my two existing cats, and the place wasn't really big enough to seperate them. I called him "Boomarang" when he stayed with me. My neighbor upstairs took him, and changed his name to Chuckie.

Maybe rocky is a cute name. My kitten is a same way. But I didn't think of that name at first. Instead I named him Little JJ. But I till love him. You should keeo him, he sounds cute. All kittens get rough, that's how they play.

What about Seville, Marmalade, Marmaduke or Orlando?
(I loved the Orlando the Marmalade Cat books)
I'd also consider Fystie, Ruff 'n' Tumble, or Psycho.
Though if I wanted a name that I hoped he might live up to, I'd also think about calling him Gently, Easy or Hero.
Have fun with him ... I'm sure that he will grow out of much of his roughness & that you'll get to love him more each day.
