Any time a person asks for a Southern recipe, someone goes on and on about southerners.They should be thankful for us, it gives them something to hate..

They are jealous of the fact that low country cooking taste better than their food(No imported recipes), that people in the south tend to live longer, and the women are better looking,men are more man-like and our way of life is more easygoing and laid back.maybe we have to much pride for them as well!Southern hospitality is something else that befuddles them, as well as traditional values.(No Ted Kennedy's' down here!) We don't even require as much to live as we value friends and family more than a new Lexus (even though,the Lexus is nice too)!

The people that bash southerners are the same ones who bash everyone else who is not just like them, like they're a god or something. The reason they make fun of others is so they can put the attention on someone else so that their own stupidity doesn't shine so bright. Unfortunately, the world will always be full of those people. It's not only southerners. That happens everywhere you go. Try being form Los Angeles and move to the south. You'll be the one getting the bashing. Like I said it happens everywhere. East vs. west vs. north vs. south. An so it goes.

some people just don't like them, now I've lived up north and down south, and i couldn't care either way. you notice how alot of southerners talk about YANKS. it's the same thing.

I can't speak for anyone else but I love all things southern -music ,food ,books and movies about the south and I live in jersey .The souths gonna do it again!!.

I seize to wonder why they are.. I'm from the south.. (Miami).. and let me tell you, the greatest times i've had have been down south lol. I say you shouldn't pay any mind to the bashing, live and let live I always say..
