My son just turned a year old not too long ago...
First question is when should I start working on potty training he is at the point now that if his diaper gets too wet he rips it off or tries to rip it off and if he cant then he gets really mad. even if the diaper is barely wet
Question two- my son knows how to pull up has been doing so for a while now and he can walk around with the help of hold onto something with ease, he has taken a few steps alone but is not showing any real interest in walking. When should a toddler start walking.

The brand of diapers that I use are Huggies Hug flex and Pampers and Pampers Cruisers we use all of those we use the cruisers for at night when he goes to bed because to me I think they absorb better, and the other ones I use for the day.

To Answer both in a oner.Basically in his own time, they are all different and will do it when they are good and ready. If he hates a wet nappy, although too young (I think), it might be worth trying him with a potty or the toilet and see what happens.
Again, with the walking it will come when something really attracts his attention and he needs to get to it. So beware that's when the trouble starts.

I think all kids are different. My little lad was quite a late walker about 15 months and I had a friend who's boy didnt walk until 18 months. The youngest I knew was 8 months and running! The mum looked proud for about 1 day, and then stressed as hell next time I saw her!!! I think if they are 'bum shufflers' instead of crawlers they sometimes walk later. My boy was pulling himself up and walking with a brick cart by his first birthday, it just took him 3 more months to let go.
Regards potty training, I had My boy in terry training pants at about 17 months. I used cloth nappies, I think you can quite often train earlier as they know they are wet straight away. Hes now 2 1/2 and still has the odd accident, it depends on whether you mind clearing up every now and then. If you read a book called the baby whisperer solves all your problems by tracy hogg, she has a plan for starting toilet training at 9 months. It sounds quite interesting, may be worth a read if you can get a copy somewhere. Its a great book. Remember in some cultures they dont use nappies and 'toilet train' from birth, I read about it somewhere on the net but it sounded like a lot of hard work to me!!! For a tip, my boy used to hide behind the sofa when he was pooing or get into the wardrobe, so I knew he had control of that side, so when he went to hide, I would put him on the potty. Wee's came later. I also used a sticker chart. Hope that helps - I guess the thing to remember is to stay patient and trya nd keep your sense of humour - you'll need it. Good luck ;o)

Your son is a cautious walker and he is just working up to it. Leave him be. He will be walking by himself in about a month would be my guess. Normal is anywhere from 11 months to 18 months so he is right on schedule. It sounds like you might be lucky in the potty training department. You might want to get your son his own potty chair as the big one might be too big and scary. But it sounds like he is about ready for training. When you see him pulling at his diaper go ahead and take it off and have him sit on the chair for just a minute or two. Tell him this is where big boys go potty. Do not make it a punishment just do it regularly. When he finally goes in the potty praise him and tell him what a big boy he is. At first he will tell you even when he doesn't have to go but as he gets used to things he will get better at it. Because he is so young he should stay in diapers rather than training pants for awhile. You can most likely switch when he is 18 months or so. You will want to wait until he can say potty or whatever word you want him to use. Remember he is very young so use a very simple word. Good luck.

It sounds like he will be easy to potty train the first step is not liking the feeling. my little girl potty trained at 17 months b/c she did not like the feeling of being wet. I was amazed and excited (alot cheaper than diapers) The walking some kids walk as early as 8 months to almost 2 Don't worry he will soon. The more you carry or hold him the longer he will take to walk why walk if someone will carry you I learned that the hard way. Make sure you have supportive shoes for his ankles. When he is ready. Good Luck.

My Daughter is 2 1/2 and she has only just started using the potty. When they can tell you they are going to do a wee or poo is the best time as the Health Visitor advised this. Also my daughter was walking along things for months then she finally did her walking on her own when she was 18 months. I hope this gives you some sort of guideline and good luck

There are no shoulds! We are all different and children do things at slightly different ages. He will walk when he is ready and he will stop using nappies when he is ready. You can encourage him by taking him to the toilet on a regular basis, asking him if he needs to go and so on. You will have to deal with plenty of accidents though as he is still quite young. Personally I would wait another few months to potty train but it is up to you. I think around 2 is about the right age.

walking comes between 9 months and two years every chgild walks at a different pace.
potty training hes not ready dont bother you wil lonly train yourself. change him more often and maybe try a different diaper. genirics dont absorb as well and leaves the skin wet. he needs to be walking really well and understand how to pull down his pants and pull them up before you even think of potty training you have at least another year of diapers probably longer

Around 1 for walking.
Potty training is a ways off. Anywhere from 18 months (for extremely advanced toddlers) to 5 years old.

My granddaughter is 21 months old, and she rips off her diapers as well. I too uses huggies. But I think she is ready for potty training.

normaly a toddler starts walkin at around 8-10 months some of them are late so thats not a big deal, just work w/ him at both things, take things one step at a time tho.
Hes younge and seems very smart, apparently he doesnt like being wet down there its uncomftorble to him, so first things first, work w/ him on the potty!
