Dear Angk: Through spiritual study (Christian, but non-denominational) I have learned to hear the Voice for God, the Holy Spirit (His non-tonal voice) and the clear and recognizable voice of Jesus. Now, how does one do this? And, how can you be sure you are not listening to a demonic voice?
Jesus and the Holy Spirit, Who present God's Knowledge and love to you, are recognizable by offering higher Thought. Lower thoughts are of the physical; they are heavier thoughts about bodies, pleasuring self through body, attack, self interest, individuality, manipulation of personality, anger, defensive-ness, etc..The list goes on. . ..
Higher thoughts focus on totality or One-ness, Honesty (consistency in action that follows words - no covert-ness) Trust, Humility, Gentleness, Tolerance, Generosity, Patience, Joy, Defenseless-ness and Open-Minded-ness ; for a few topics!
They are thoughts of a higher order. If you are receiving thoughts of higher order and instruction about them, you are in the realm of the Holy Spirit and Jesus, or any great teacher.
Higher Thoughts bring nothing but more devotion from you toward your Creator and also toward your brothers and sisters. They harm no one - and nothing.
If you are receiving such. . .you can feel and rest assured you are in safe territory. It takes awareness of your thoughts. Not absent-mindedly thinking, or lacking in aware-ness of what is passing through your conscious Mind.
Direct revelation from God to you can also occur, but it takes some degree of spiritual purification of your Mind to have this occur, normally. Jesus, and/or other great teachers, can bring you to purity of Mind.
Best regards, Lana

I find that the best time to receive guidance from God is after saying my prayers, I stay on my knees and LISTEN.
Have you ever called up your friend and when they said ´Hello?,´ blurted out all you had to say to them and then just hung the phone up afterwards without listening to them even one bit? I dont think so.
It´s the same with prayer. It´s how we literally converse with our Heavenly Father. If, after we pray with sincerity of heart, voicing to Him the specific things we are in each new day uniquely in need of, we will allow God´s messenger, The Holy Spirit, to bring the reply of assurance, and we will receive an answer in our heart AND mind.
Now, it´s best to ask a yes or no question if you want to receive the best answers. How more simple can it get. That way, when you know something is true that you´ve asked God is a yes, you will feel good feeling and a burning inside. If a no, you won´t get that, it´´ll just be bland inside. It´s not always bad to get a ´no´ answer. Sometimes, it takes time and prayer until it fits with His time.
I hope I helped.

God often gives confirmation of what He asks of you. A song, a sermon, a comment from a random stranger, the passage you read in t he Bible... If you have spiritual mentors in your life, it 's a good idea to run things by them. Ask them to help you discern.
You're right. Demons/Satan are very deceiving. They will mix in as much truth as necessary to make their evil schemes seem right. This is why Christians are urged not to forsake the assembling of the saints. Assembling means joined together, not just gathered in one spot. Make connections, build your net stronger. Bounce things off your brothers and sisters in Christ when you think God has told you something. Through this process, you'll learn more and more how to tell if it really is HIM.
Good question!!

There really isn't anyway to tell if God is talking to you. It is so easy to be decieved. Most are lifted up in pride, where they think God is leading them to do such and such, and they want to believe that it is God, because they think they are worthy of being led by God. See the pride that is here? The enemy uses this pride to his advantage, and many who think they are led of God, are led by the devil...or their own imaginations.
It is better to abandon the idea of being led by God and just live the best life you can, and trust that He will lead in His way your life, not by crazy words. So much time is wasted waiting on God, when He isn't requiring anything special from anyone...just that they would lead holy life. Perhaps when your life is holy, you may have gifts of knowledge from God...but until then, just live holy and God will work out the rest.
Even the Saints knew that the enemy could decieve, and trusted little of what they heard.

sure people won't be able to listen God yet they could experience or experience issues from him purely in daily existence, even the undesirable issues that takes position with someone is a sweet issues because that is a try from God. also once you ask God for something you observe it happening now and again and do not ***** if issues do not flow like you want because meaning the issue is in you. besides, God talked to everybody from previous and modern-day and coming generations by a messages that look by holy books, highly in recent times from the purely probability-free books that stayed THE HOLY QUR'AN

You just know. Trust me. I have struggled with this question for years. Recently, however, something happened that changed my whole outlook.
I was sitting on my bed one night, writing in my journal, when I wrote that I wish I could have sisters. (I am seventeen and have two brothers.) Then a thought struck me that I could not - repeat, COULD NOT - have thought of on my own. I responded with my own words, and answers kept appearing to me. Answers I couldn't have thought of on my own. This continued for about fifteen minutes before I finally resolved my issue with sisters and could apologize to God for being so ungrateful.
Trust me, you know.

Ofcourse.
The entire bible and story of jesus could be a fabrication of evil spirits and satan.
And considering the bible and christianity has been used to convince millions to commit the worst atrocities in human history, I think there is a pretty good chance that is the case.
