Swimming is great exercise. I know of many women who have lost weight by swimming and doing water aerobics. You can also buy water weights that you put on your ankles to add even more resistance for a better workout. There are also weights that float and by pressing them under the water you can tone your arms. Many community fitness centers have water aerobics classes that you can sign up for. Good luck!

well have you heard of aqua aerobics workout, the water gives you great lifts and if you do aerobics in the water, you don't feel tired and no injuries and u loose as much weight with much less effort. swimming is a great overall exercise, but you will lose all over not just spots. If you are a pear shape and you lose weight and exercise you will always be a pear shape just a smaller one. Swimming can also build but tone the muscles in the shoulders

yes priya..it would certainly do..swimming in itself is complete exercise...it will be helpful in toning your hips muscle...it is very effective cardio vascular exercise and infact equally good for your whole body...bring some changes in your diet too..avoid oily and junk food...some assans in yoga can also do wonders for you...your weight is more than what you should have...i am personally a regular to my club's swimming pool...winter is here so make sure about water temperature ....all the best...get going and stay beautiful.....

swimming is a excersice ,i will not say stop it ,you have to go for some kind of medication such as phentrazine which will bring down the weight ,if you are taking this medication every 2 days check how your weight loosing,this will give tremendez impackt

This well help if you stick with it. Swimming is one of the best way's to ferm up your butt. Make shore you stritch every day. My wife lost 150 lbs.in a year.Watch what you eat.

swimming is an amazing weight loss plan. but you have to do it more than two times a week. its the cardio that loses the fat. but you have to eat right and work out other than that too.

i have seen top models like Namrata, Nafisa ali, Deepika, Indrani, Indra , shilpa, shamita doing swimming regular basis. it has toned their midriff area, thighs and bust areas, toned their arm muscles. it burns calories and also gives you the desired figure at the right places

yes ofcourse but learn properly & get into it. defenitely it helps. it also prevents disc prolapse which is common in obesity,. but if you want the figure go for aerobics.
