Theoretically if u criticize Israel or Israel's policies you are not antisemitic .You just disagree with the way things are done in there...this doesn't make you racist...unfortunately ,in real life if you are anti Israel you will automatically be labeled as an anti semitic...or even terrorist...

In theory, yes.

In practice, a lot of what gets passed around as anti-Israeli is a currently-acceptable form of anti-Semitism. The very language says something -- have you ever heard the terms anti-Iranian, anti-British, anti-Korean? Even anti-American isn't as common.

Somehow Israel is held to a different standard. It's the only country in the world who has to continually justify and defend its right to exist.

Keep in mind whenever you're reading or listening to this that many Arab and Muslim nations will do anything and everything they can to remove the state of Israel from the planet permanently. This is about old hatreds. This is also about a land grab, at least for Syria who would love a Mediterranean port amongst other things. This is about the Arab League using Palestinian Arabs as pawns for 50 years in order to undermine Israel.

Let Israel exist. And then we can talk about what it's done badly.

Well to begin with, Arabs (some of whom are Christian), Armenians, and some other non-jewish groups are themselves SEMITES so the term has often been inaccurate as something only identifying Jews. And many Jews are not even Semites if they are not sephardic descent. But I digress.

There are many Jewish groups who oppose zionism and the Israeli state. Jewish people are not a monolithic entity that share a common agenda, no matter how much both the conspiracy bigots AND the zionists would have it be.

Sure. You can hate what the nation of Israel is doing but still love semitic people. People all over the globe are proving that its possible to hate the actions of the USA but not feel racist about white people.

Taxing people critical of Israel's policies of anti-semitism is an easy and very cheap trick used by the crook and dishonest to avoid criticism.

Yes. The state of Isreal is just that - a nation-state. Anti-Semitic implies you're anti-Jew, anti-Judaism. I like Jewish people a lot. I don't like Isreal, their government, or the way OUR government bends over backwards to help them with no regard for anyone else. A great many of our foreign policy problems have a direct link to our friendship with Isreal.

Sure, disagreement with the policies of a country doesn't mean you are religiously discriminatory. That would be kind of like people who say those that have criticisms of the Iraq war are unpatriotic. The two things don't necessarily go hand in hand.

Yes. I'm anti Israel only in the sense that NO RELIGION should EVER be allowed to have their own state, let alone nuclear weapons. This would extend to The Vatican too.
