my auto run feature on both my dvd drives has stopped working, when i used to insert a game for example it used to auto run straight away to a splash screen, but know i need to right click and explore the disc and look for setup.exe
i reckon its a peice of software thats disabled the autorun, but as i dont know which one and i dont want to uninstall all of them ,this is not a option
also a system restore is out the question as i dont know exactly when the autorun stopped working
so my question is,,,how can i get the autorun working again as its got to be something simple
also i have my p.c dual booted with vista(beta 5600) and the autorun works fine in vista,so its not a hardware problem
i installed a program a while ago called "visual autorun",now would this be the cause of the problem, shall i re-install it and see if this works
any help would be great
