that is not earthly possible, no matter the size of the dog. The dog and cat both have a different amount of chromosomes so there isn't a possible way even if they did mate(like that would happen) there is no way they could have babies. Tigers and Lions have the same amount of chromosomes, so that makes that possible.

I've often wondered about this, but now I read where there has been a dog & cat that have bred. The cat had 6 babies, 3 cats which died shortly after birth & 3 dog like babies. They are going to do blood test to verify this. I am curious as to the outcome.

Cats cannot have babies that are part dog any more than people can have babies that are part giraffe. You may have kittens that have a shape of face you are not used to seeing. If you had catdogs, you would become rich and famous!

I think that pic was photoshopped.
Anyway, haven't you ever heard the Back Street Boys song "Cat and Dog DNA Just Don't Mix"?

only through authorities legislature they could't have children yet, that's getting now not uncomplicated for them to undertake in optimal states. optimistically human beings will keep in mind that no count number what pairing you've, cats and dogs create a competent environment for children to augment and develop.

I see you saw the article on yahoo about this. The dog is small, so it is possible. Just like a lion and a tiger mating and creating offspring. Or a horse and a zebra, etc, etc.
It is quite possible, and I guarantee they find a common gene with the blood test.
For Torbay blah blah-- I guarantee it is possible. It has nothing to do with common chromosomes or same species. How do you think different species come along?? The dog mated and impregnated the cat...get over it, its life.
