For the past few weeks I've noticed her breathing heavily, almost wheezing sometimes. Then the past 2 days she's been sneezing. I have a vet appointment today, but was just wondering if anyone's cat has had the same problems, and what it is?

Sounds like an upper respiratory infection. They will give you medicine for her. It's just like a chest cold would be to us.

Those are just symptoms and I am glad she will see a vet today to see if he can come up with a diagnosis of the problem.

Good luck and I hope all will be well with her.

Your cat's allergic to you. You're going to have to find a new home, because of course, your cat owns your current residence. Seriously, kitty probably has a cold.

Could be allergies, cat's get allergies just like humans I heard that sometimes you can give cats a tiny amount of human allergy medicine and it will help, BUT please talk to your vet before doing his, I've never done it, but that's just what I heard, make sure your vet ok's it first....

My persian had a bacteria that caused the same symptoms!

It was called psedomonas...the test was a simple nose swab, I would ask them to do that to check!!!

Good Luck!

It could be several things- Including distemper, if she hasn't had her shots.

Good luck!
