Dept of Human Services. Most states have programs that cover daycare while you are in school IF you qualify income wise. Starting in Jan, you may have problems...usually no funding. It will take about 2-3 months to apply, get interviewed and then approved for them to start paying. I use to go to school full time and then work part time while they were in daycare and the govt paid it (as long as I was going to school.) Contact DHS and ask them...Also apply for all grants, loans, etc. FAFSA.com

You should be able to speak with a financial aid counselor at your school. There are tons of options for grants, scholarships and student loans. There are many published guides that you can buy also. Try finding one at Barnes and Noble. Also, you can Google "single mom scholarships", "grants for single moms", etc....

You can apply for a student Loan from Sallie Mae.
You can request the extra money for living expenses
in your loan.

With Sallie Mae you will need a credit score of 640 to get approved unless you have a co-signer

My husband got a loan with them and it gave him enough money for all his living expenses plus food,Apt, etc all while he was in school. His total loan was $76,000 which he paid back in 3 years.

whatever you do stay away from welfare
Welfare to me is for someone who is totally unable to help themselves and for children. Before getting remarried I was a single mother and I always found ways to get through any situation without lapsing into welfare. Welfare will put your mindset into a poverty state and will hinder you from going far the longer you are on it.

financial aid is for your education. if there is money left over for pay your bills then good. Maybe, you should not give up your day job so you afford bills and any healthcare issues. However, if you don;t mind taking out loans that will only go to the cost of the attendance to be used to cover additional costs. Anyway, good luck!

Or file for welfare and other social serivces.
