friends here will get to read it. I just got a call that a friend of mine who was battling cancer for many years and losing the battle has shot himself in the head. He leaves behind two beautiful teenaged daughters. Please send out a prayer for them to be comforted during what is likely to be the most traumatic holiday season of their lives. If you are not a Christian, as many of my friends here are not, please simply spare them a passing thought at the very least. He was the father of my daughters stepsisters and a very good man. He will be greatly missed. Thank you in advance for your tolerance and for all who will spare their moment for this purpose.

How sad these 2 daughters must be, my heart goes out to them, and you. Losing a loved one is very difficult but to lose one to suicide is even more disarming, for you know now their hope and will to live was gone, how sad. Please help these girls realize their dad didn't mean to hurt them, he was just very sick. May the days ahead be full of good memories and special stories about this man that you all loved, he'd have wanted you to think of him in fun ways now during the Holidays even if it hurts. But try for the girls sake. I am so sorry for your loss.

i am very sorry for the lose of your friend. i will pray that the Lord forgives him and that his family will remain strong in faith to be able to go on. i will also pray that they will forgive him too. cancer is a horrible thing to have and i can understand why he did it. i do wish that he could have talked to some one about it before he did what he felt was best. his family will go through so many stages of grief. they will always ask why but getting them through the anger stage is the most important. that will be the hardest for you, supporting them. i hope that you will stay strong for them.
best wish and condolences.

Lord Jesus as this family faces the next few days, months, and years I ask that you have mercy upon them, and that by the hand of the all knowing Lord Jesus you send the comforter the Holy Spirit to encamp around their heart's and minds, to lead and guide them. To answer those question's of why Lord. To protect them and supply and meet their needs in this time of such tradegy. Lord God I thank you that there will be people who will surround them with Love and assurance in you. And that in no way can their hearts be hardened beyond measure. But receiving to you Lord Jesus. again Lord God I thank you that you said you would hasten to preform your word, and will never leave nor Forsake us in our time of trouble. Lord God I pray and ask in Faith in Jesus Name. A-Men
Stay strong sister the family will need you greatly.

A blessing to these two children that they may remember only the wonderful happy times that their father brought them. Forgetting the very sadness that brought him to this end of the road. And a happy reunion at the end of all their spiritual journeys.

Wow, I'm really sorry to hear that... as much as I'd like to say that I understand how you feel, I really can't imagine. But I will certainly keep him in my thoughts. I guess all you can do is try your best to stay strong and remember that he's not suffering anymore. Best of luck.
