As a marriage counselor I see and have seen an increase in women going outside of the marriage for comfort and companionship.
THIS is a big increase

Women have most of the sexual power these days. They determine if the relationship becomes sexual. Men statistically cheat more, about 25% to 15%. But, there are women enabling the men in the 25%. There are probably alot more men who would cheat given an opportunity with a hot willing women.

For every male cheat there has to be a female cheat. So, I say it is even. Guys just think about it more.

males for sure, when they cheat it's sexual for most cases. but if a female cheats it's more than sex, she probably doesn't love her partner anymore... for females it takes a lot to do that... but guys, they cheat all the time... at least it seems so... maybe we think that males cheat more because they are stupid enough to get caught... females are smart and don't usually get caught... I think it's not right to discriminate and say guys cheat more, because everyone cheats... whether it's sexual or not...

I think society makes it out that men do more of the cheating, and usually it's "OK". But I don't think that's the case. I know many women who have cheated. It all depends on the personality, and if you want to be a complete jerk off by cheating on someone. I personally have never cheated, and could never bring myself to do so.

I would say females do, because they usually start affairs. While men usually hook up with one night stands. Women cheating hurts more too because usually their heart is involved, while for men it is merely a physical thing. However, both forms of cheating is no way to treat the person you are suppose to love.

i think that a male cheats more in a relationship because they just have to be rebellous and think what their friends say is always right they do it because they dont want sex from just one woman. Women dont cheat as much because they have common sense and know that , that **** will come back on them in the end.

As a guy i admit its probably more males. We are just build to be with multiple partners. A female is build to have a baby and stay with it. Which gives her less time to cheat. However these days girls are caching up to guys.

all of my female freinds have cheated and never been caught. I have 3 male friends who also cheated and they all got caught. I think women cheat more and its the men who get caught
