I keep mine in an air tight small bottle or jar. Never had any mold or go bad on me.

Do not discard rinds of grapefruit, lemons or oranges. Grate them and place in a tightly covered glass jar and store in the refrigerator .
Makes excellent flavoring for cakes, frosting and such. Also you sprinkle the orange rind over chicken and the lemon over fish.

Just put it in a bag and freeze,when you want to use it use from frozen do not defrost

put it in a zipped tight bag and place in freezer
