In most states, NO! The government tends to only reward single-mother's who don't work. These women's sugardaddy, uncle SAM, seems to encourage single-mother's to stay at home and live on some type of assistance until the end of time, I say this because SAM will take care of them only if they don't work and never marry. And on top of that if they have more children, they get more benefits, crazy. There are so many single-moms, and dads like me that work fulltime with no help from anyone, I don't mind this but there are some that are on the edge of finances and need just a little help to stay afloat but SAM refuses because they make too much, or they own a car that's worth 2-3,000 and are denied any benefits. Help the people who try not the ones who give up. Good Luck.

Because you didn't tell us where you live - I can only suggest - it seems you have a computer - ever tried to get into those "paid survey" sites? Take an educational upgrading course? Or try working from home, there are a lot of companies that do that now. Your work is e-mailed to you and you complete the assignment and return it. In most States and Provinces, there are Agencies, funded by the local, thru to the Federal Gov't that support "single" moms! Check out your Municipal Listings and/or phone your City Hall. Haven't you asked your Social Worker?

I HOPE you mean Financial Aid for College --

The FIRST place to go to and ask this question is to your Women's Services Department at the college or university that you attend. They will have current information on available scholarships, grants, internships or other programs available to single working mothers who want to pursue additional education and improve themselves.

Most of these will have application processes -- that is why you have to ASK the question. Get the forms, apply, and follow all the instructions. These departments will also have information about any State Financial Aid for Single working Mothers too.

There are programs out there -- but depending on your College/University and the State you live in -- they have requirements that are different.

If you are deemed needy there is help for everyone. The first step would be to determine if you are receiving proper support from the father. Then to see what public assistance you would qualify for. I wish you luck. I hate to know that there are people in our country who try their hardest and can't make ends meet for their children, especially around the holidays. I hope everything works out the best for you. Happy Holidays.

Sorry but the answer is, No!

The government only gives money to people who sit home and claim they have a disability.

The harder you work the less you will ever get help

Should be the opposite but its not!

In America you get rewarded for being a loser
and not an achiever
