I am twenty years old and my dad is claiming that I am not his. We had a dispute a few months ago. I would like to change my last name. If any one knows anything please response.

You can change your last name but you have to do so in a legal manner. It will cost you. Contact a lawyer.

It's an easy process.

Although you may be angry and hurt now- just do yourself a favor and reconsider this.

Although the legal process is easy enough- all your credit cards, license, and so many other areas of your life have to be altered.

Think long and hard about the change for a while before making a final decision.

Contact your county or state clerk's office about legal name change. It's a fairly straightforward procedure.

Get the same published in a paper and then you may file an application to do so.

U could change it 2 Ur mothers' maiden name. That should make U feel better.

I hear its easy as long as you keep the same first letter of your last name. Contact your county registar.

go to your town hall and speak to a probate judge..should not be hard...cost...approx...$200.00.... good luck
