I don't happen to believe in this God character. TO ME, it is a simplistic and primitive answer to questions people weren't able to answer and it endures because people want to believe they are special and have no responsibility to the planet or the other creatures that live here.

QUESTION: Why should I worry that this God will punnish me (assuming he exists) just because I used the brain (and the evidence) he gave me?

You shouldn't worry. If there is no god, you shouldn't worry. If there is and he's a truly just god, he wouldn't condemn anyone to eternal damnation just for using the brains he gave them and refusing to believe unbelievable things. And if there is a god but he's not a just god, we're all screwed.

Satan rules you....And you are very confused and Satan rules that brain of yours....If not you would not fill the ways you do And the evidence I have for you is every one has to die someday and you are no different from no one else and then you will get your evidence...Until then ask Your self this question dose evil over rule good in you....Ask yourself can you see the difference between right and wrong .....Ask your self are you blinded by your consumed person that you are....If you will read you will see that He is up to date as of this day in His words as to what is going own in this world And He also knows that what is happening to this world is what we the people have caused and just now wanting to do something about it....Worldly things ....Some people treat animals better than they did their own children...And feed those animals each day but their is Hunger every were...In your world....So question your own Faith .....And leave others alone and quit trying to confuse others...God bless the U.S.A. and Israel and All.....

In my religion you shouldn't be worried, UNLESS he starts giving you evidence that he does exist and you ignore it.

But do be careful with the human brain. It is not always an accurate thing. For example, it once believed that hay changed into mice, gold was the pure form of lead, and all sorts of rubbish. The trick is that he gave you more than a brain, so use it all.

For simply that reason.....He gave you a brain and you want to blame God if you don't use it? And the opposite of what you said is true. I have full responsibility for my actions on earth and towards other human beings and creatures. And God will take me to account for all my actions. Thats why i live my life in accordance with his rules for me. Believing in God does not make me think I'm special or superior, it makes me feel humbled, responsible and equal to all others.

Nobody said you had to worry about it. Or believe it. You can do as you wish, some would say because he gave you free will.

But I won't say that. I'll just say that I personally dont take the chance he doesnt exist, and I keep myself out of trouble, though not worshipping him. It's just good sense. The bible is a great rulebook for how to live a happy life, wether or not god will smite you is another subject.

I can appreciate that you used your brain and evidential circumstances to theorize about God. And you are correct in assuming that God would want you to search out truth. Consider however, that an individual's sphere of knowlege is very tiny compared to all the information that can be known in the universe. For example, my personal knowlege of God may be a drop in the bucket compared to the comprehensive truth of God. It would be easy to make false assumptions on such a small amount of knowlege. On the issue of punishment, one would have to know the absolute character of God to understand what type of violations deserve punishment. In order for God to be supreme, His character would have to be without defect. A being of perfect character would view all actions and intentions contrary to its own as a violation. So perhaps God's character is the driving force behind an absolute morality instead of an arbitrary whim of His fancy. That being true, God is just in punishment despite our perspective on the matter. Mankind's only hope would hinge on God's character including mercy as well as justice. A merciful God would provide a means to escape punishment, and would reveal it to man in a rational way. Mankind is then responsible for using God-given conciousness to hear and discern the message of God. Have you ever encountered a God like that? I have.

If you were using the brain He gave you then you would know there is a god.

And if you actually took notice of science and Spirituality, then you would notice that the Bible has real and true answers for the questions science cant or cant easily answer.

The thing is those answers are scattered in the Bible, and God speaks in mystery so that only those with faith will understand

It isn't a question of punishment. Each person either chooses to spend eternity with God, who is the source of all that is good, or to spend eternity apart from God, which is the total absence of all that is good. Those who choose the latter have chosen an eternity of evil, pain, and suffering. God has not inflicted it. On the contrary, God has provided every opportunity to spend eternity in peace, joy and ultimate fulfillment.

You shouldnt worry. If you were worried, it would mean you werent sure you are right. But if your sure you are, dont worry.

If you are assuming He exist, then you should. He gave you a brain, you can use to read the Book he also gave you that tells you whats going to happen if you dont believe. Easy. Thats only for the sake of argument, I am NOT telling you to worry, I am NOT telling you that you will burn in hell, I am NOT condeming you, I merely answerd your question.

I want to rephrase your question:
You are saying why should you worry about receiving punishment from God (Allah) just because you are using your brain and the evidence "HE" gave you?
What is your proof that there is no God? Are you really using logic or being a follower? Because all those who claim of such belief really don't have proof!
How can you deny such a Perfect Being who created you and granted you all that you have?
