No, that seems pricey. As the car was just redesigned, the value of the previous models go down even more (not really a huge amount though). Your best bet would be a Civic, or a Mazda Protege (of course both of them have been redesigned recently as well).

I think that you should be a lot closer to $4,500 for that car even if it is great condition. Also, I believe that car has a 4 cylinder motor which are generally good on fuel but not as good as a V6 for longevity so I would take it to a mechanic first.

I sell cars and I can tell you that is waaaay too much for that year car with that many miles that car should be about 5 grand depending on the condition and trim level trade in value on that car should be in the 3k range
