I'd love to wear the perfect dress but I won't spend thousands on something I'll wear once!

I know there are other ways to save money on a gown (trunk shows, sample sales, etc.) but I don't want to deal with the crowds and schedules. I just want to go at my convenience and rent a gown. So far I haven't had any luck finding a place around here. So does anyone know where in Michigan or even the Midwest I can RENT a gown?

for a little more than it will cost to rent one, have one copied by a dressmaker, and then just resell it if you choose not to keep it

No need to spend thousands on a designer gown!! Go to trunk shows and bridal shows...a lot of the time you cna get massive discounts on gowns they have in stock. Also, you should look into gown from previous years because, just like cars, designer gowns go WAY down in price once the newer styles come out!!

Yes dear go to the Wal Mart in Warren on 12 and Van Dyke. They have a lovely selection of wedding gowns and you will not pay an arm and leg for them either.

Look in the yellow pages for rentals. Then call. They will know and if they don't they may know where you can call. Good luck and I agree!
