I think you're welcome to decorate your body in any way that you choose, however I will warn you that I personally would not hire you to work in a public job if your tats were a distraction to my customers. It's just something to consider because lots of employers will feel the same way. If you get some body art, it's a good idea to make it possible to hide it when you need to.

Not being critical, just being honest.

Good luck!

tattoos are becoming much more acceptable in today's society. many people who are of a religious nature do have tattoos nowadays. they tend to stick to the more traditional religious or memorial tattoos but tattoos are still more acceptable than they were. i think if a person chooses to 'decorate their temple' as you put it, it's their own personal decision. i personally think tattoos are a form of art and should be accepted by everyone.

very positive. You're lying back watching the clouds just as you are watching the events in your life go by. Everything has clarity and definition, and there is variety as well. You're in a relaxed position indicating that you feel strong and confident about the way things are progressing. The sun feels good and colorful butterflies surround you. These are all the options and opportunities that you have right now, and they are plentiful. They can also signify the people in your life right now. Bright, energetic and beautiful, you are surrounded by positive energy from most every direction. This is a wonderful time for you where you are the one who's in charge of your life, and things are going extremely well. Seize some of those opportunities!

I live under the same belief. My body is a plain canvas so all I want to do is decorate it in a way that expresses myself as best as it can. Everything I do to myself is only a form of self-expression. This includes having tattoo's.

I think you should do whatever makes you happy. If you want to decorate your temple with body art then that's your business and nobody else's. I have tattoos myself, I see nothing wrong with them.

Thousands of years ago people got tattoos to worship their gods and have them to tell stories. I think can have a sign to many things, like honesty, or courage. I think it depends, I think people who are coverd in tattoos or have a nude person tattooed on it's not smart. But I think a nice small tattoo that actually has a meaning or story is better.

They are more acceptable, but still not fully accepted.

And I think that as long as you do what you want and what makes you happy, that's all that matters. I decorate my 'temple' as I see fit and as I desire.

As long as you don't worry about what others have to say about it, you'll be fine.

People have said that to me too. My come back is simply, "Have you ever seen a plain undecorated temple? No they are all lavishly decorated and beautiful." That pretty much shuts them up pretty fast.

I've got 4 tattoos *technically 2 sets of two*, which represent my spirituality, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Body art is beautiful to me!
