That's not a question that could be answered and supported with a lot of evidence. Many things mentioned in the bible probably did occur, that doesn't mean it all did or didn't. This is a question everyone must answer for themselves.

If you take the bible 100% literally, then there are serious inconsistencies within itself and with what we have observed in the real world. HOWEVER, metaphor was an important communication tool back in the times it was written, so the literal interpretation cannot be used to disprove the bible to those who accept it with the knowledge that some of it is metaphor. Before I get people arguing about it has to be literal, remember that the parables are of little meaning if they were simply stories of what a person did and not representation metaphors for the way we are to act.

The Bible holds some facts that archeology has supported. However, archeolgoy has not proved the Bible.

Let me explain, I shall write a quick story.

"This summer (2006), I went to Iraq. There was a lot of fighting going on. The Sunni and Shiite militias were killing each other and a bunch of innocents. My first stop was the airport, which had a big pink ribbon bow atop it. So we caravanned into Bhagdad, and along the way we got shot at a few times, thankfully no one was hurt. When we got there, I saw a huge dragon flying around. I saw a bunch of dead bodies and got so angry I forced everyone in the country to stop fighting."

Now then. Does the fact a war was happening in summer 2006 in iraq mean my story is 100% true? Or does it mean that some pieces are true, some pieces are believable, and some pieces are either false, lies, or outright stories that aren't meant to be believed?

Oh, but maybe 'dragon' is a symbol for attack helicopters? Nope, you have to believe it exactly as it's written.

But does archeology prove all of the Bible? Much of it is incredible and requires faith to get past its unbelievability.

As for the passage from Daniel being specifically about the current generation, how so? Doesn't knowledge increase with each new generation?

Yes, the Bible is true, yes archeology does prove along with historical documents that the Bible is true. Archaeologists have actually used the Bible as directions to archaeological digs, and yes Daniels predicts, as many of the other prophetic books in the Bible, what to look for in end times and for the second coming of Christ, and yes, we are the perfectly fit generation that would fit all conditions for end times as described in the Bible.

Yes there is proof that the scriptures are 100% accurate. Read the following prophecy that has come to past as Daniyl saw over 3000 years ago.........

Daniyl, who was inspired to write the prophecy concerning the seven year peace agreement signed with Rabin, also wrote the prophecy concerning the end of man's governments. He also showed when they would end. It's a combination of the same prophecy spoken of in different ways by different prophets over a span of thousands of years, all placed in The Book of Yahweh for The House of Yahweh in all generations.

Isayah 28:10—
For precept must be upon precept; precept upon precept; line upon line; line upon line; here a little and there a little.

The Seven Year Peace Plan!

Daniyl 9:27—
And he will confirm a covenant with many for one week; seven years, and in the midst of the week, he will cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease; instead, he will cause the prevalence of the Lord of Heaven even until the destruction that is determined will be poured upon the desolator.
Notice the words "in the midst of the week". The midst of a week of seven days is three and one-half. But this is speaking of a day for a year, as is the whole of this prophecy and also the fulfillment. The midst of seven years is three and one-half years, which is referred to later as a set time—a time of three and one-half years.

The seven year (one week) plan was confirmed with Rabin September 13, 1993 and began October 13, 1993. Rabin was assassinated as Daniyl's prophecy shows. Shimon Perez took his office for a short while until an election could be held. Benyamin Netanyahu was elected the next Prime Minister of Israyl. He shut the seven year plan down after it was in action only three and one-half years (one time)—in the midst of the seven years.

The seven year peace plan started October 13, 1993, shut down April 13, 1997 after three and one-half years of action. The seven year peace plan stayed shut down for a duration of two times, that's seven years and was signed back into action on April 13, 2004 on the very day prophesied.

President Bush and Prime Minister Ariel Sharon restarted the seven year plan on the very day Yahweh showed it would go back into action.

We Are Now In The Last Three and One-half Years (Time) Of Man's Governments Of And By The People

Remember, this plan is shown to bring us to "the end" and the destruction that is prophesied for the end.

What is your question!Should you not rephrase it to "Is the Bible true" ? Not "The Bible is true"! Are you asking or making a statement?

Where did you get this "information", please? Archaeology proves that many of the LOCATIONS mentioned in the bible existed, that's all it proves. It certainly does not prove the creation myth, nor the existence of "god". Nice try, though.
