Planning would require a certain amount of knowledge concerning such things as... where are we going, what does it look like, where will I live, what will I eat, do the shops sell Gucci etc?... As none of the above are known as no one has actually been back to this life to confirm location, Gucci etc then planning becomes more difficult... but as any good God person will tell you ... You will just have to have faith... Hmmm

We do know the plan or purpose of God if we bother to examine what he had recorded for us in the scriptures.
2 Timothy 3:16, 17 - ALL Scripture

God's plan is for mankind to live forever on the earth in paradise conditions. After all, it was his original purpose and it will be fufilled - ISAIAH 55:11
When God created mankind he created us perfect. It was only by man's disobedience that sin & death were introduced into our make-up, our genes - ROMANS 5:12

Because of this, God created us with the longing to live forever. Death is unacceptable to us (ECCLESIATES 3:11) Think about it - it would be cruel to create us with a longing to go on living but an ability to fulfill this, wouldn't it?
And we know God is a loving God (1 JOHN 4:8)
This longing we have to live forever is fed by Satan when he lyingly told Eve that she wouldn't die if she ate the fruit (she did).
The idea that somehow something survives the body when we die is an extension of that first lie that Satan told Eve.
The soul is not separate from the body. A person IS a soul
GENESIS 2:7
ECCLESIASTES 9:5 & 10 shows what happens we die
The only hope for a dead person is a resurrection - onto the earth
JOHN 5:28, 29
PSALM 37:11, 29

We don't know because religions are made up by desperate people who want to believe in an afterlife and immortality, instead of concentrating on what they have, they always want to look for more, if you want to have faith, have faith in families and friends, if there is a great plan on the subconscious level why are you worrying about it when you can't know,

We all want an afterlife but if you don't know how to get there then just enjoy what you have and be greatfull instead of wanting more than maybe available...,,,

If life is a test, then perhaps God chose to have us be shielded from this conscious knowledge until we have completed the test. That way we can have the chance to use faith in our decisions.

Because we only use 9 per cent of our mental capacity. Or we should have taken the blue pill? :))
