'Granma sue' has made the point, what are you asking?
If you are saying that Muslims worship one God (Allah) and make sacrfice to him alone, then no one can argue with that !
'Sacrifice' meaning the odd sheep or two.Christians also believe in one God, they call him 'God' but this is the point that gets a bit tricky, Christians belive Jesus was (and still is ) The Christian God is not two seperate Gods but the same God. (It gets even more trickier after this)
I'm pretty sure no section of the Christian church makes any animal sacrifice at all.
Jesus to Muslims was a well respected prophet, but not the Son of God (or God himself)
I am atheist, so have no axe to grind on your behalf or on the behalf of Christians, or any other religious group!
I honestly cant see the point in your question.
If you seek knowledge then ask a question in this catergory, I'm sure you will get a better response! ( if it really is information you are after)??

Before you jump off the ledge, consider the quote you referenced... God (with captical G) is the creator of all things... the term "any god" refers to objects of worship other then the one who created all things. Besides the universe, angels and demons along with humans were all created... so to worhsip an inanimate object or a created being is rebellion against God. Fortunately for us, God's character is not only just (death for rebellion/sin), but also mercyful... so while we deserve death for our rebellion... He made a way through Jesus to be just and forgiving at the same time. Without Jesus, justice is all we could get... and that my friend is not so good. One extra comment, no matter where you are in life (say you sacrificed to empty idols)... hey, trun away from it and like the prodigal son you will be shown mercy. I dont think its an issue of religious tolerance, rather tolerance for truth... truth is independant of you or I, it simply is. Thus we should be careful in casting stones... as in our limited capacity as mortals we see only in part. Blessings to you.

Please understand, there is a right and wrong way to do anything. Think about this, the law says you must stop at a red light. I'm sure that doesn't fall into anything you feel like doing. Now if someone came to you and said they were a group of people (lets use street racers as an example) who don't obey that rule and you say "Sure why not," then following the rules of that particular group may make you feel good, but you're still going to end up busted and in a lot of trouble.

People can follow the rules they want to follow (namely the rules of Islam) if they feel good about it, but in the end you still have to answer to Authority (namely God) as to why you refused His law.

You don't have a source from where this came! Stop trying in vain to give Christianity a bad name! Give me the book name where you got this info, and I'll believe you! God and god are very different, just like allah and the God of Israel!

Why are you also giving other fellow muslims bad names? You claim Islam is the religion of peace...but you're doing otherwise!
What you need, dear person, is the love of the God of Israel and Jesus as your Saviour! I'm praying for ya!

Funny, last time I read the Quran, what I took from it was that Jews & Christians are given three choices:

1. Convert
2. Pay Jizya when muslims conquer you and get used to being a second class citizen
3. Die

And those who do not follow YHVH at all lose #2 as an option.

Peaceful my big fat @$$.

--------------

Did I say it was a specific verse? I said I took it from the quran, meaning, "As I read it these few times I've read it, this was one of the concepts that I found it to be teaching."

I didn't lie.

We do have religious tolerance. Religious tolerance is humans leaving other people their right to follow whatever religion they choose. Christians do that. I have never stopped any person from worshipping how they wish to. Therefore I have religious tolerance.

The fact remains that only Christians will go to Heaven (so our faith teaches us) and, therefore, anybody else will be utterly destroyed ie in Hell.

That doesn't mean that people have no choice in which religion they follow or that we will persecute them if they don't follow ours. It just means that they will be judged for not accepting Christ's sacrifice on the cross.

That isn't religious intolerance, it is simple cause and effect.

That is Exodus 22:20, part of the long list of laws for the Hebrews. It's between, don't lie with animals and be nice to foreingers. In the NIV, the version we Catholics use (for the quote above is NKJ), it's shorter and less flowery. It means, according to the bible study on the NIV

The Hebrew term refers to the irrevocable giving over of things or persons to the LORD, often by totally destroying them.

What it clearly means is that there is but ONE true God, and salvation thru His Son, Jesus.

Islam is all about "freedom of choice"? The deceiver used Muhammed to create (invent) islam and allah as a false god to distract and keep people away from the love and mercy of God.

Pray for muslims that they may open their hearts and their minds to the love and mercy of God, and find their way away from the evil and wickedness that is islam.

If one is a true Christian and he sacrifices either himself or materials to another god except his own will be destroyed. A man's destruction comes in many ways. A man who deosn't live by his convictions and sacrifices himself to other means or ways is enroute to self destruction for not believing and trusting in his God. God says to trust in Him and He shall provide all you needs. Utterly one chooses to be saved or "destroyed". Destruction is being no where near God.

The god of Muslims is revealed as a tyrant who demands Muslims submit to him. Jesus revealed to Christians a God who is a loving Father, who wants us to come to Him via free will. In the Old Testament (Exodus 34:6) the real God revealed Himself as "merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth".

When a Muslim declares that Islam is a religion of peace, he/she is either ignorant of the Koran, or is deceitfully thinking of this "peace", as it extends only to those within the Muslim Community. The deceit is that they will not tell you exactly what they mean. According to the Qur'an: "Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah. Those who follow him are merciful to one another, but ruthless to unbelievers"
