k, my friend has an older brother and i was ALWAYS attracted to him, even when i had a boyfriend. so i was starting to think, k, maybe he's the one for me if its like this all the time. so i started getting his attention (purposley) at football games in my cute little cheerleading outfit. we're kinda talking now, and hes 19 so he goes to college and comes home every other weekend. and i couldnt wait til he came back this week, which made my week longer. and im starting to think im obsessing a bit. but idk, its complicated to explain. so, honestly, what do you think?? am i obesesing over him?

Nah, you're not obsessing...

You've just got a gigantic crush.

So, what's your next move?

When you are beginning a relationship it is normal to obesse to a degree. Everything is new and exciting and you want to invest your time there. I would be worried if you weren't obessing. However, I would like to point out something. You write as if you're still in High School. I am in college and college is completly different than High School so getting involved w/ him might not be the best idea. Also, the distance thing will be hard on you...and there is the issue of age. It'll all be diffcult for you. However, in regards to your question obsessing to a certain degree I feel is natural. Try to keep spending time w/ your friends and not always mentioning him. Also, work harder on the hobbies you have so you don't get dependent on this obession. It's your life and life is too short to be completely obessive all the time. GL

It sounds much more like excitement than clinical obsession.
