he was affriad to lose you, he thought if he accepts so early you may not believe him and regard his love as a trap(to have you for other reasons) but i think he was wrong, should have told you earlier.

I don't think it is possible to be in love with someone you have only met online. If you meet them in person you might have an entirely different impression.
