go to the nearest masonic lodge and request a petition for membership. you must have two members of that lodge sign the petition vouching for your character. your petition must have the correct initiation fee accompany it. the lodge will then vote on receiving your petition then you must be investigated by a committee appointed by the Worshipful Mater. the next stated meeting your petition will be reported on and the voting will take place. if you are accepted you will be required to take the blue lodge degrees of entered apprentice, fellow craft and master mason. once these are taken and you are proven proficient in each of the degrees then you can apply for membership in the Scottish Rite branch of the masonic fraternity. after completion of these degrees you will be a 32ND degree mason.

The Masons are essentially a social club and have NO RELIGIOUS POSITION WHATSOEVER! They are not a cult, they are not trying to take over the world and they do not believe they will become gods. Maybe some of you people should do some reading once in a while. Obama likely is a Mason, as have been many Presidents, so what?

1) Join a Blue Lodge and take the first Three Degrees...

2) Make a lot of donations, volunteer for offices, become Master of your Lodge....

3) Attend one of those one-day or weekend seminars where they do all 29 remaining degrees one after another....

You have to be nominated to receive them.

This goes for Scottish Rite Masonry only. York Rite/Royal Arch Masonry has different degrees

Lots of memory work to memorize all of the passwords, handshakes, oaths, tokens, etc.

Make sure that you are of the same race as the current members of the Lodge (you never see blacks in a white man's Lodge), then get ready to portray Hiram Abiff, the masonic savior, in a theatric performance (don't worry you won't have to prepare too much for this - you'll be hoodwinked (blindfolded) and cabletowed (lead around by a noose) and someone will speak to the Ruffians for you).

Be prepared to take oaths with gruesome penalties for revealing "secrets". (You can't tell anyone, even your wife.) This is sure to strengthen your relationship with your wife who is not worthy to hear the word "Mahabone".

Also, make sure that you don't read the Bible. The Bible is just "furniture" in the Lodge. If you read it, you'll find out that its teachings are completely incompatible with Freemasonry. Forget Jesus, you'll be praying to The "Great Architect of the Universe", a one-size-fits-all generic god.

If your goal is to become a Shriner, you will have to swear alligiance to Allah on the Koran, but its worth it because you get to wear a dorky red hat (which you can decorate with rhinestones!) and ride go-carts in local parades and tell everyone how much you help crimpled children (even though Shriner's Hospitals give less than 5% of their money to their hospital programs - check it out on www.guidestar.org - that charity has $8 Billion in portfolio holdings).

If all of this sounds like too much work, just join the Heman Woman Hater's Club. Spanky and Alphalpha showed much more maturity than most Masons and they didn't have to commit idolatry to join.

Let the "thumbs downs" begin!

I'm a Mason. It's no big deal. It's amusing to watch all the TV shows about conspiracies.

You have to go to a masonic lodge and request to be a member. They are not allowed to recruit
