I had that problem..It's stupid right. But if you really like the guy, i would put effort into trying to tell him how much he means to you and that he doesn't need to worry. You can only tell him so much though that eventually he needs to figure out his insecurities on his own...If he can't get over it, you need to find someone else because being jealous of your own family is RIDICULOUS! He needs to grow up...

Dump him. What he feels for you isn't love, it's selfishness. He is like a little boy and you are his toy that he doesn't want anyone else to be able to play with. And just like a little boy, when he grows tired of this toy, he will go find a new toy. I have seen this happen dozens of times over the years. It happened to one of my best friends, it happened to my sister in law. On each occasion, the jealous husband ended up finding a new toy.

He is probably self-conscious and I bet he treats less than your worth and he is scared you'll find better than him. My husband was that way...jealous of everyone including my own family, and trust me he had no reason to be. Just tell him that that is family and he is being immature and if he loves you than he will accept that or leave it. You have to lay out to him and put your foot down or you need to leave that situation.

You're not going to like my answer, but leave him. Men that are jealous are also possessive and they eventually become abusive. I know this first hand. Save yourself the trouble and heartache of becoming a victim later on.

You boyfriend needs to get a reality check. If he thinks that you would rather go out with your own flesh and blood then girl, he is seriously not worth it!

he doesnt trust you at all. and he must think youre easy because he obviously thinks you will do something with your own cousins. you should leave him and find someone who is better suited for you because if you dont you will be nothing but miserable.

Well, unless you live in West Virginia (in which he has every right to be jealous) then tell him to bug off.

Rethink this relationship. Unjustified jealousy only gets worse as time goes on. He is insecure.
