As I preacher I find the Devil is my enemy. He will do all he can to get the Word of God distorted and as someone else has said to get the world to not believe in Him at all.
God has said that we should have no other gods and that any faith/religion not of God is of the devil.
The ultimate power of the devil over sin and death was done away with when Christ died on the cross, and one day the devil will be cast into hell.
I hope you are enabled to seek the Lord. Best wishes, James

The Bible teaches that non-believers are minions of Satan even if they do not understand it. The idea being that you are either consciously for God or you are working for the Devil, ignorance of the law is no excuse in other words.
This causes a conundrum for believers like me who whole heartily believe in a merciful God and wonder how say, Congo Natives, who live a life never even hearing of God will be treated after death. Salvation is by faith and I understand that I don't have to understand everything and I have faith that my God has a plan that will not send basically innocent people to Hell. This doesn't apply, in my opinion, to AA's who hear and know of God but reject him anyway.

This teaching is correct and comes from Jesus' words quoted at John 8:
42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. 43 Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. 44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. 45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. 46 Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? 47 He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.”
The world is made up of two kinds of people: those who are Born Again and are therefore God's true children (John 1:12-13); and everyone else, who are influenced by Satan. There is no "league" required; simply refuse to believe and you're automatically put into the club.
Peace.

"The greatest trick the Devil has ever played was to make the world believe he doesn't exist"
If you don't recognize his existence it makes it easier for him to influence you.
Just because you don't recognize that your drowning doesn't save you from drowning.

When you are trying to teach from a flawed premise (ie any religion) the only thing to do is attack everyone else.
They can't stand the thought that they are wrong and those of us who know there is nothing there are right.
Everyone who loses an argument resorts to abuse.

it isn't all about what the preacher said, it's what you has an individual want to believe. you can't solely rely on people you need to know 4urself.
