My children are grown up now but no actually I never got drunk whilst I was in sole charge. Either myself or my husband would remain sober in case there was an emergency. If we both wanted to drink we would get their grandparents to have them overnight. Edit: to me, being drunk is the issue not where. If you were drunk at home and your child was sick and needed someone with a clear head around them, how would you manage either passed out or with your head stuck down the loo? As for the comments by 'just a girl', I personally can attend a wedding etc and have an excellent time without getting falling down drunk. There is nothing clever or grown up about being incapable.

In Geogia it would be public intoxication, unless you had a motor on the canoe, then it would be BUI, Boating Under Influence.
I should have read some of the answers before posting mine. Some of those are really funny.
