It has nothing to do with religion! If you dont want a baby, there are plenty of people who do. Unless you were raped or your life is in danger, either keep that p*ssy closed or use protection!

I know a person charged with a DUI with a BAC right at the legal limit. He was pulled over for having a tail light out. Twelve months later, he is still looking at a few more months of issues dealing with the DUI.
But, if a girl or woman wants to sacrifice the life growing within her, for any reason whatsoever, the action is taken swiftly and immediately. If the decision making process with abortion was similar to anything else in the legal system, lives that would otherwise be aborted would almost always be born AND available for adoption.
Sadly, the value of life is worth less than the slightest inconvenience.
Peace,
MoP

I can't stand my dog anymore. Why can't I just kill her? And why would anyone care if I do? I mean, if I don't kill her she'll just continue to cost me money, drain all of my time and I am just not ready for any of that. And I know YOU won't take her off of my hands will you? That's what I don't like about atheists and agnostics. All their fake superiority.
Why do we get so worked up? Because murder is something to get worked up about. And that is how the pro-life; anti-abortion group looks at abortion. The deliberate, premeditated taking of the innocent life of a human being.
Your argument about Christians not wanting to "take that person's kid and raiste it" is so weak it's pathetic. There are 1000's of couples who would love to adopt a child but are put on waiting lists while millions of children are being cut up, torn apart and being burned alive. Oh yeah, I remember now. You don't care about any of that. As long as it doesn't affect you, right? Whatever is right for you? Let your ever changing opinions determine what is moral and what is not, right? Live and let live, right? Unless it is a little, helpless, defenseless baby. Then let's just call it something else and kill it.
I started this response mocking your question by talking about killing a dog. I realize that this is not a good comparison. Dogs aren't humans. Dogs are treated with much more compassion than defensless little babies. Another sign that we should, as the atheists like to say, "just have faith in our fellow man." And things like abortion is the type of thing that faith in our fellow man will lead us to. How sad.

I don't like the idea of abortion, but I wouldn't condemn someone for having one. But then, you aren't aiming this question at me because I have done exactly what you say Christians won't do. My best friend in Uni was going to have an abortion but because I was willing to bring up the child for her, she didn't. I now have a beautiful daughter and your question is nullified.

There are waiting lists for people who are willing to finance unwed mothers to term for the oportunity to adopt their child.
The judgmental attitude that you have that makes you point your finger at a person you don't know at all and call them fake in their piety makes you a hypocritical bigot.

there is some truth to what you say. i guess in a kind of way you are saying that Christians dont mind their business.i bet some of the of the Christians actually would love to take care of other kids. imagine all the couples not able to have kids and they are just dieing to have one. you have to respect that aspect. instead of killing your kids why wont we give them up for adoption to make the lives of both situation better. also for the child they will receive the loving they need. so this solution is a win-win situation.

For the record, many Christians are pro-choice. In some cases Abortion is the most loving thing to do. It should not be done without good reason and careful thought. It is a tragic thing, but sometimes necessary. God is a God of Love and compassion.

there is an inherent responsibility involved when a man and a woman have sexual intercourse and the prime object is not to fulfill our lust but to reproduce our species in a loving manner.
selfishness knows no bounds does it? oh yes I will have the pleasure but to hell with the consequences.
it is not logical nor is it moral to expect other people to sort out the selfish wants of others, but for your information good people do adopt and if they didn`t then a child would grow up in an non-family environment.

Respect for life is part of the freedom our forefathers fought for. Christians DO take children and raise them! Also, most cities have homes for unwed women who want to have their babies adopted, or there are homes that take in women for refuge in a trying time in their lives. We (some of us) get worked up as you call it because there is disrespect for the lives of the unborn. People that don't care, just do not care, and we want to wake up people to what we are doing as a nation in killing off our young! That is a downward track that I don't want to take! Respect me, respect others that have opinions and desires that don't match yours!

because abortion kills babies that is the bottom line. If you are not going to raise the baby then give it up for adoption. Just because someone was not responsible enough to use protection does not mean you should kill the baby.
