I am constantly amazed that anyone can accept such travesty as doctrine. I attribute this horrible tradition, the "salvation through faith" reductionism, to Paul and his success in winning the faction fights in the early days of what we now call "Christianity." It makes a complete mockery of the concept of "faith without acts is dead." It also serves as carte blanche for greed and lack of compassion. After all, who cares what you really do, as long as you believe?
