my hair is kinda long but i want to get it cut kinda like my avatar. the girl that does my hair always asks me how i want it cut. what do you call this style. i love it. if you read my profile please only write if you'll be sweet. please no guys. guys can be so mean. thanks for any advice.

i call it a bob with wispy layers. when you are at the salon take a few magazines and look for styles that you want then show them to your stylist.or, save a picture from the internet or your avatar to your ipod or phone then show it to her.

hey Melissa,
Look it all depends on what look you have now and "the change" you looking for...My advice is to take a picture of this style and ask the stylist what she reckons it could do for you.
According to your hair type and the consistency,color etc...If she says yes than try just a little bit longer than the pic (just in case you regret it) at least it wont be such a radical change.
But hey a change is as good as a holiday so go for it (it always grows back)
