You have a very sensitive gag reflex. Since it is in the morning your stomach has nothing in it but the bile to throw up, you also may be a little more sensitive because you have nothing in your tummy as well. There are a couple of things you can do, first try eating a piece of toast or cracker before you brush in the morning to make sure your tummy has something in it. Also try using a toothpaste for sensitive teeth. The "numbing" agent in the toothpaste may numb your gag reflex just enough to keep you from heaving. If it gets any worse you should see a doctor since the acid can cause permanent damage to your esophagus and throat.

Drink some 7 up or sprite before you brush your teeth to calm the nerves and dont brush so far back in your mouth. Remember to get your back teeth clean but if you gag simply from doing so there are other products like tounge cleaners and floss brushes that would benifit you. Talk to your local physician.

When we brush our tongue, vagus nerve present there is stimulated n it causes gagging. Lower oesophagal spincter is relaxed while doing so, and acidly liquid 4m d stomach is regurgitated.
Actually it shud nt happn.
Brush ur tongue while brushing ur teeth only upto where u can brush without gagging.
Regurgitated acid 4m stomach into oesophagus causes damage 2 oesophagal epithelium n burns it.
Other complications may arise.......

You are either gagging yourself by brushing to far back or you swallow the toothpaste which will irritate the passageway to your stomach!!! The as you bring that up you gag too much and bring up the lining of your stomach!! Because its in the morning you have nothing in your stomach to bring up only the acid (bile).
Hope this helps you!

You're either pregnant, nauseated, gagging yourself by brushing too far down as far as your teeth go,or you need to drink something to keep something down.
