I would tell Jesus (peace be upon Him) that I had nothing to do with that, and that I would change it if I could.

The essence of jesus' teaching can be found in the creeds of the church ,different bible translations are hard to get at the exact meanings in the original, that's why scholars debate such things .
The creeds were a summation of essential beliefs and have stood the test of time .
Try this , read and try to understand the teachings of the creeds ,written in the early years of the Church , now compare them to mainstream modern Christian belief , you won't find a tissue paper of difference from then to now . Have you got a direct line to Our Lord ? you seem to know what He will say , let's just wait and see .

You don't confront Christ... and if and when you look into His eyes... you wont be asked that... he'll be reading your soul, not the book.

Stop blaming others for things they do and start looking at how you yourself can make a difference in lives of less fortunate people, and how you can be the best you can as a brother or sister to all living things.

That's all he will be reading from you... not looking to apportion blame for religious text and leanings.

What a lame-*** question! I didn't change it! Who says Jesus is gonna ask me why I changed it? Is that what the quran says? How can you go and put words in to others' mouths---> 'i didn't like this and that...'?
P.S. how do you know what Jesus is gonna ask us? And that question as a matter of fact?

Couldn't Kenneth G be any clearer?

I never had any discussion with Jesus in which I promised that he can trust me with the Bible. Also I know I never rewrote it so I would ask him why he is accusing me of that.

Anyway the OT existed long before Jesus and the NT was not even written until after the crucifixion. I would ask him why he didn't have it written while he was alive to proofread it.

Since jesus was not the son of god, as there is no god, I do not have to answer his question.

And yes, the bible has been rewritten many times. Christians, learn your history of the bible.

Hmmmmm. Funny. I thought the BIBLE came first. Some desert fox from Arabia is the one that changed everything. I wonder what his name is? I think it starts with an "M"? Have you heard of him?

My Jesus, (and if you knew Him personally as SAVIOUR, and not just as some prophet, you would know this) recognizes His own children.....and that's what He wants.....for us to know HIM as a child knows their Father. I trust in His preserved Word!
