When I got her she had bad diarrea 4-5 times a day. I started feeding her plain chicken breast and rice 2 times a day. I also leave out a high quality kibble for her to eat in between meals. I give her a multi vitamin. She is so much better she goes poop now 2 times a day no more diahrrea. I don't like the smell or idea of canned dog food. Do you think w/ the chicken,rice & vitamin she is getting enough nourishment??

I would add some veggies as well. Do some research on dog food recipes.

ya that should be good..i would talk to your vet tho..but if she is getting the chicken and rice and vitamin along with the food as well, sounds like your doing pretty good...

Great job nursing her back to health and I think it's wonderful that you're conscious of the dog's welfare (unlike so many others out there).
It sounds like you're doing an awesome job on your own, but I would still check with the vet.
She's lucky to have you!
