From experience: the next day you have a sugar and caffeine hangover from helll. if you drink too much you get the shakes.

One year I worked over Mardi Gras weekend, and was kept alive and upright by copious amounts of Red Bull. By the end of the weekend I was near collapse, and so retired to my bed. That night I dreamed that all my blood had turned to Red Bull, and I could see the amber liquid coursing through my veins... Oooh, that was weird.

It's pretty much just the same amount of caffeine you'd get in a large starbucks coffee so if you are sensitive to caffeine you might find it hard to get to sleep. Caffeine also helps drugs enter your body quicker (which is why some flu medicines and alka seltzer has caffeine in). So if you're drinking alcohol (or god forbid taking anything stronger!) along with your Red Bull you might find it going into your system quicker than you're used to.
If you're worried about it's sugar content ask for the sugar free one in the lighter blue can.

Increased heart rate, diarrhea, mood alterations, shakes, increased blood pressure, pretty much everything starlet and jacqs said. And it can't keep you going forever - once you finally crash, you are going to crash harder than if you hadn't had it in the first place. If you drink it over a prolonged period of time then try to stop, you may find yourself with withdrawal symptoms like a headache in addition to shakes and mood alteration, so afterward, you'll pretty much need a period of detox until you start to feel like you don't need it again. As much as I'd love one, there just isn't a perfect substitute for natural rest out there. That said, its not the WORST thing you could be on either...

Unbalanced vitamins will create vitamin deficiency of other vitamins (it would take months for this to happen though). Caffeine has the obvious temporary effect of shakiness if you take too much. Once you feel the caffeine in red bull isn't enough, you will be tempted to switch to more caffeinated drinks such as Monster.

From my experience, drinking too much will cause headaches and feeling drowsy! not energetic at all. Some people will obviously react differently though.

Could make your heart beat faster, lose perspective.

Ive been told that there have been a few cases where people have died from drinking way too much of it or drinks like it. unfortunaltely I don't have any factual evidence to prove this. It's what my father told me a while ago.

As with all high-caffeine, high-sugar beverages:
Rapid heart rate,
Elevated blood pressure,
Agitation,
Potential anxiety or panic,
Restlessness,
Shaking,
Insomnia,
Perspiration -> dehydration
Corrosion of the lower intestine
Dental caries (cavities in your teeth)

followed by a speed-crash, featuring:
Extreme fatigue,
Rapid drop in blood-pressure (very bad for your heart),
Cold sweats,
Weak immune-system,
Migraine headaches,
Diarrhea &/or vomiting --> dehydration

Prolonged use can cause:
Psychiatric problems, including schizo-affective disorders, and violent behavioural disorders,
Gastro-intestinal problems, including ulcers, and reflex disease,
Diabetes,
Permanent life-shortening sleep dysfunctions,
Blood-pressure diseases.
Heart disease, including heart-attack.

That's just a minor list. Oh, and smoking at the same time, doubles your risks, and adds cancers.

Always have vegetables on give. Saute a big bag of frozen mixed vegetables in essential olive oil and garlic. Add some red pepper as well as turmeric for additional flavor in addition to separate into portion-sized containers for your fridge.

Not sure about the full fat one but the diet one has Aspartame in it.

That stuff is scary!

Look at the list of side effects (provided by the same people who approved it) :-

Distracted dining could possibly get you in trouble. Avoid eating looking at a television or in a movie theatre, as you're bound to use up more calories.

heartburn, bloating, indigestion, upset stomach, diarreah

Oh wait, that's the peptobismol song.

You get jittery, headache, some stomach irritation, increased heart rate, sweaty, and if it's that strong for your body, you might not be able to sleep at night.
