If you consider that there has been an average of 160,000 troops in the Iraq Theater of operations during the last 22 months, and a total of 2,112 deaths, that gives a firearm death rate of 60 per 100,000 soldiers.

The firearm death rate in Washington D.C. is 80.6 per 100,000 for the same period. That means that you are about 25% more likely to be shot and killed in the U.S. Capitol, which has some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation, than you are in Iraq.

Logical Conclusion? The U.S. should pull out of Washington D. C. immediately!

I guess there goes the Democrats' theory of gun control saving lives and keeping guns out of the hands of criminals. Basically, it just prevents law-abiding people from defending themselves against violent scum of the earth who prey on the innocent.

They are so naive.

D.C. also has among the highest levels of educational spending in the country, along with being ranked among the very worst performers with stratospheric high school drop-out rates. There goes yet another theory of the Democrats being proven wrong over and over again.

They will never learn.

Thats a really good point. Even though we don't want any of our military members to die, the numbers are still low considering that we are at WAR.
