I love seeing a persons face change when you smile at them and mean it. When I smile at a person, it cheers me up, and also them (I hope) :-)

A smile to me can mean your not alone in the world and that someone who may not even know you respects you as another human being, which lets be honest in this day in age is rare.
I once saw a man who was sat on wall and looked like he'd been crying. I felt bad for him and smiled at him as I walked past (not a big toothy grin!). 5 mins later he came to my bus stop and thanked me for showing him kindness with my smile and said it had made a big difference to the way he was feeling, with that he smiled and walked away.
Thats what a smile can mean!

It shows joy or is an expression of happiness or pleasure. It also shows that the person you're talking to or looking at is looking back and may like you or some thing. Some people just smile to be nice but if she looks at me with her eyes and smiles and her whole face and body show it then I know it's for real. I think it means he or she likes you.

I always like a smile on anybody - but especially when a guy smiles and you can see their eyes smiling too. Like they're trying to flirt, and get your attention!! Thats the nicest feeling - even when you got a boyfriend, its still flattering!

Smile is visual on humans face thats on the lips and eyes.
Smile is visual on animals when their face expression looks calm and eyes bright and wide and the tail wags alot.
Smile is visual on plants when they shine the most.
Smile is an expression of happiness,warmness,cosiness,satisfaction affection.

a smile means a lot to me. but depends what kind of smile. there is ur smirk, fake, loving, friendship and just plane eivl smile. so really i prefer the loving, frienship smile because it proves to me that someone cares for me.
