My mom said it's alright for me to get a hair straightener, but she wants me to get one that will hardly hurt my hair.

I only want to do it for special occaisions and hardly ever for school (i.e. 1-3 times a month or so). Cost is no issue for me.

Also, if it helps, I have light brown/dirty blondish hair and its kind of wavy but differenent. (I'm not good at describing things if you've noticed, hehe, maybe I should ask how to describe things in another question...)

Well its a matter of opinion which ones are best but there are a lot to choose from -GHD's there quite good if your looking for a really straight look I have nicky clarke supermodels there so good they have a tempereture button to choose what heat u have it at if you dont want them that hot and they go up to 200c if you want them really straight! You can also get babyliss and remington there also good it depends what price range your looking for, some can come quite cheap but GHD's are 100pounds.Why not ask a worker at the place you work at what they would recommend for your hair, hope i helped ya Xx

Hi I also have light brown/dirty blondish hair and its kind of wavy
too. lol Anyway I use pink corioliss pro hair straighteners which were
recommended to me by a freind when I asked her how she got her hair so straight. Since using these my hair is always straight and it only takes about 10 mins to straighten my hair.

Hope I have helped you.

SERIOUSLY- TRY THIS!!!!!!! I SWEAR BY IT!
It's the Remington Wet to Straight straightener. My hair has NEVER looked good whenever I'd use a straightener, but I tried this one, and it makes your hair SO soft and SO pretty. I've recommended it to all my friends and they love it. PLUS- you can use it right out of the shower when your hair is wet! Just straighten it dry. IT ROCKS!!!!!!!!!
