this guy has been in contact with me for years.he always texts me when he is out in town to see if im out too to meet up.i do like this guy.he was even texting me when i was with my ex fiance.(he knew of my relationship)he still is too.
i dont live in the same place as him.i have met up with him 3 times.we only meet if we happen to be in town on the same nite.there is no planning.it does make meeting difficult as we dont live near eachother.
we have only kissed despite im wanting to take things a little further.he compliments me,buys me drinks and always makes conversation with me.when i was last with him he asked if i was enjoying being single.i said yes.
was he hinting at something?why hasnt he asked me out on a date?

Well, he's definately interested in you. However, either he is taking it SLOW due to some committment issues, or perhaps he'd rather have you as a friend with benefits. Either way, it's your choice as to how you proceed with the relationship. If you want more, then say so...if not, enjoy the ride! :)

He's taking things slow, most guys do when you've just come out of a relationship, they are worried in case it's on the rebound as can sometimes happen.

well if you say so (that you'r enjoying beeing single), he may think that you aint interested in a date. if you said, "i like beeing single, but a good relationship is more...more than just "like". it's what i search and would love" it would have been a different thing! :)
