Yeah that's my question to all guys, gals welcome too. Do you think they are cheap? Would you think they are less 'valuable' than the girls that you ask out? If it's a girl that you've been eyeing for some while who asks you out, would you wanna go with her or would you think she's cheap and stop liking her?

I didn't really ask this guy out but I invited him for some party and he thinks that I'm asking him out! OMG! But the thing is I actually like him. I don't know what he will think. I'm from an Asian country and my mentality is girls should never ask guys out! It is just so cheap

Personally i prefer if the girl asks me out. Because it lets me know if she likes me back or not. Cus i have liked many girls and pretty sure none of them liked me more than a "friend." But it is becasue i am too shy to even ask a girl out and stuff like that.

Most guys love it. There is a difference between asking someone out and 'throwing yourself at them'. If you ask a guy out, and then the two of you get to know each other personally from then, I wouldn't see a problem. I know I LOVE IT when a girl asks me out.

To hell with culture, it is a fact that shy people who don't ask out but get asked out more often (like me) make the best boyfriends.

there is nothing wrong with asking a guy out .........its not like you ask him to sleep with you ........its very normal and most guys i know like to have the pressure taken off of them once in a while and enjoy it when girls are straight forward and know where they stand .........good luck
