...that scientists or mathematicians have worked out that there is a 65% chance that there is a God. I didnt have time to read the whole thing and I'm not sure whether this question should be here or in the maths sections but does anyone have any idea how they might have worked that out?

People can come up with mathematical formulas that prove I am God if they really wanted to.

I am not especially gifted in science or math but I do know that scientist and mathematicians are able to do their calculations and come to correct conclusions based on the unchangeable laws of God. Somehow their intelligence sometimes gets in the way because if there is something they do not understand or can not prove by their own methods, they discount it as being untrue. Yet, later they learn more and are able to do further investigations and their thinking changes. I however am not constrained by this since I know the chance that there is a God is 100%.

Quantum Physics. You remember the question, "can the flapping of a moth's wings be felt on the moon?" Well, the answer is yes. Quantum Physics talk about how everything is connected. They study quantum particles (which are the smallest thing they have found, smaller than atomic particles). They say that they have a difficult time studying quantum particles because the moment that they even think about the particle, they have already changed it.
So, to make everything that there is... all God would of had to do is just "think" us into existence.
This is a young science, but one day it is going to prove the existence of God, or a higher being, or creator, or whatever you want to call it.

SPANKY!! Are you aware that Christians do not have full ownership of the truth? Science is science. Facts are facts. I don't think that God can be measured and jammed into charts and graphs, but just because a scientist says something doesn't mean that is contradicts your Bible. Don't be silly.

This is plain silliness. As a Christian, I find the proposal that God (or "proof" of His existence) is somehow quantifiable or subject to mathematical calculations, to be the worst kind of, well intentioned, sophistry.

Probabilities, most likley.

How probable is one event over another, what is the factual evidence to support this thought or is there proof to support that.

Regardless, it only gives us a 15% advantage, cause honestly, its a 50/50 thing anyway.

I have not a clue. I didn't know that the idea of God could be "found" and "measured". How did they come up with this? I'm curious ...
