As an actor it is a complement to me when people respect my work enough to dress up a little before a show. It makes me feel nice when people treat it as a night out, something to cherish and enjoy. Such as it is I would think a dress or nice slacks would work well. Of course you can wear anything you want. But it is respectful to others to dress up a bit.

I went to a theater up in Toronto and most of the people were very well dressed. One or two had on jeans and they stuck out like a sore thumb. I think you should wear dress slacks and either a nice top and/or a blazer.

i think of what you advise sounds rather great. you prefer something on your hands as theatres could nicely be slightly chilly. As for hair and make up nicely maximum everybody is going to observe the panto, the place you're sitting will probable be rather dark and that's a kinfolk environment so i would not chuck on a great form of make up. i would not positioned on a great form of black mascara and eyeliner and purple lipstick in simple terms on account which you're wearing those hues. whether you have been older it nonetheless would not paintings. The golden rule is the two eyes or lips could be formidable yet no longer the two. in simple terms relax and revel in your self.

If you have a pair dark dressy jeans (newer the better) and tailored jewel toned dress shirt would pass as long as you wear dressy closed toe shoes and wrap warm pashmina for ambiance.

Wear dress slacks. It's tacky to go to the theater in jeans...dress slacks, a nice top, and dress shoes...

Go with slacks. I think dress slacks would be perfect - not too dressy, not too casual.

Please do not worry. Everyone will be watching the theater performance, no one has time to see what you are wearing. Just relax.
