ok i was there 2 years ago...i have the same hair... now here's a few of my fav up-dos... try a half pony (do a ponytail then tie up the end closest to ur head then let it fall around)... or do the half pony on both sides of ur head.... or do both of those with braids.... and my fav down-dos.... straighten a few strands of ur hair and leave some still kinda curly..... and this is considered a down-do, have half of ur hair in a pony tail (half up half down).... thats all i can think of right now... if i think of more i'll tell u!!!

oh i just looked at ur other q's... and the myspace one , my answer is www.Xanga.com i use it (FightingForHumanity)

I know exactly how you feel because I'm getting sick of always wearing a ponytail in my hair too. Probably the best solution would be to look through magazines like glow because they have some hair styles that are shoulder length and they show you some ideas to do to your hair to make it look fabulous. Or talk to your hair dresser cause they could probably give you an absolutely gorgeous haircut, or talk to other people with the same hair length and see what they have to say. Or you could try crimping your hair. These are only a few suggestions, but I hope they help.

One thing you can do is have your mom french braid your hair while its wet. Do this before bed and sleep on it, then when you wake up and take out the braid you will have wavy hair!

You can pull just the sides back in a pretty barette.

You can part it in the middle of your head, and wear 2 high ponytails, one on each side of your head.

You can wear it in a french braid.

You can get your mom to tease it up.

Hope this helps!

You could have your mom make a middle part, then take the front section from each side and made a French braid with just those sections. I love how this looks and it also helps keep your hair out of your face.

my step-sister has the same kind of hair that you do. what I would do is get a straightening iron and straighten your hair, or I would take a straightening iron straighten your hair then bend over and put hair jell all through it to where it sticks out then I would straighten it again to where it keeps it sticking out. my hair is cut to the top of my ears like an "emo haircut" i love spiking mine.. if you get strong enough jell you could be able to spike yours too.

Hope this helps.

Try a straightener. As you go down the hair shaft flip it outwards on the ends. Looks really cute.

try combing your hair into a style that fits your face. like maybe a style with two side bangs and a french roll or you could even clamp it up and go for the wild look.
