Isaiah 9:6 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and his name shall be called wonderful, counsellor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of peace."

One man said "I and my father are one, If you have seen me you have seen the father."

The temple is gone-the sacrifice for sins -unless we believe Isaiah is gone, Judaism would be done according to Moses-Leviticus 17 vs 11 "The life of the flesh is in the blood and I have given it upont the altar to make atonement for your souls."

Isaiah 700 bce didnt quit on showing us who the Messiah would be Isaish 52:13-53:12 He will be exaulted. First he will lay down hisLifeForSin

Daniel Steele says its written wrong interpreted and on she goes-what is the problem-oh It points only to Jesus-well this is the orthodox Jewish translation, not the liberal reform 'Jewish' version the rewrote the bible, and claim the Jewish Scriptures isnt even the Lords word.

Well who will you believe-Isaiah, Jesus or Danielle?

Isaiah 52:13-53:12 HE WILL BE EXAULTED. HE WILL BE MARRED MORE THAN ANY MAN. HE WILL GROW UP AS A TENDER YOUNG ONE. ALL WE LIKE SHEEP HAVE GONE ASTRAY AND THE LORD WILL MAKE to light on HIM the iniquity of us all. He will be despised and REJECTED OF our Jewish people. He will lay down his life as a lamb and make atonement for our sins. He will die with the wicked and be burried with the rich. (and after his death) He will see his seed and prosper.

well is it Danielle Steele we trust or the Word of the Lord? did Isaiah lie -was he twisted? or does someone else know better than Isaiah?

the last name was changed to protect the other party-but it does begin with a S and does -doofus answers-berating anyone that believes Moses in his teaching that the Lord created the universe, or about the morals Moses taught about-and other stuff-and finds the worst answers and tries to say that is what followers of Jesus say-

David Israel,
You are a Christian. I do know that you seem to have some psychological disorders and therefore may not be capable of hearing dissent. Nonetheless, I must tell you david that I think this evil and deceptive form of missionizing you are perpetrating is degrading Christianity and the good, normal christians who practice it.

. It is, by definition, impossible for it to be "jewish" to believe in jesus. "Jewish" is, by defintion, what jews have historically and contemporarily believe. Since in neither scenario do we find "believing in jesus", then we must clearly realize that belief in jesus is not something "jewish". You can call it "biblical" (and still be wrong), but certainly not "jewish".
. On the side, the subject of Isaiah 53 is promised a "long life" and "seed" (i.e. physical children). Clearly this isn't about jesus.
. And Isaiah 7 is clearly not messianic if you read the whole chapter. and "alma" doesn't mean virgin either. You'd know that if you spoke hebrew (I guess learning basic hebrew wasn't part of your "extensive jewish upbringing", huh?)
. On the side, Isaiah 9 can't be about jesus since, according to christianity, he's the "son" not the "father" (as the verse states). Nor did he have control of the government (to the contrary, the roman government killed him). And he certainly did not establish "endless peace".

oh, and lastly, I've decided that you truly epitomize everything I find intensely intellectually unsatisfying about christianity.

Let's go with a translation of 9:6: the messiah will be aruler in judgement. Did he ever serve as a governmental judge? And explain Leviticus 26:44.

Friend, I don't know this Daniel person, but The Prophets of Old has never gone contrary to God's perfect will so therefore you can trust the true Prophets, & Jesus never took anything away from the Prophets, He simply fulfilled some pophecies

Danielle Steel or Jesus? Awful romance novels (I never liked her stuff) or the Son of God? Wow, hard choice.

Jesus, hands down.

and what makes Danielle Steele such an authority on scripture, has God changed His mind about His holy word and decided that D.S is to be the chosen one of a new revelation?
when people like this speak in this way you can bet that there is always a hidden motive.
here are some interesting facts concerning D.S, she grew up in a dysfunctional family and was married 5 times, once to a convicted rapist, and is of German Jewish birth.

Danielle Steele writes mushy gooie fictional stories. Fiction means it is not real. Jesus Christ is real. Does she have Gods ear? Beware of people who twist the scriptures to make it conform to thier own idea's, - especialy a fiction writter. I think you'd be better asking your Q's about spiritual things at the religion page. At least you get a cross section of answers. Listening to one person all your life just makes you narrow minded.
