I'm not too sure, Sir; but I seem to keep seeing a lot of people referring to Muslims as a "Race" and comments on them as "racist"; but I always thought they were a religious group.

I recollect a Muslim lady advising a Muslim who was in a quandary as to whether he should support his native Country or a neighboring Islamic Country regarding some issues, where she said that the Muslim was Muslim first and last and did not owe any allegiance to a non-Muslim Country even if he lived there because they were something called "ummah".

It's an accepted fact that Muslims, as such, have this view and that their loyalties lie with the Islamic Countries and not with their home Country. This is also known to be preached extensively by their Imams.

Also, considering the fact that it's considered their religious duty to fight against the "infidels" and support jihad, they are considered to be High Security Risks in most Circles.

Maybe we are wrong in seeing them as Terrorists lurking in the shadows, but then, we can't be blamed for not wanting to take the risks of having our throats slit like the Western Journalist who was murdered on public broadcast in al-Jazeera; and having suicidal bombers dress up in explosive vests and blow us up, after having lived among us as has happened before.

I'm sure many of their community will protest their innocence in public but then who knows what their views are when they're in their own circles.

Have a nice day.

Wasn't Hitler a Christian?

Why is that when a Christian or Jew commits a crime, it is the individual going on trial, but when a Muslim commits a crime, it is Islam that goes to trial??

Talking about terrorism... can u define it? Yes crashing a plane into a tower killing innocent people is absolutely unacceptable... but so is killing thousands of civilians (in Iraq) and discharging the case as a matter of casualty...

WTCattack was terrorism waged by a GROUP of people.. Lets talk about terrorism carried out by an ENTIRE NATION.. Israel attacking Lebanon and bombing the airport and bridges and roads.. damaging every possible outlet for innocent people to move out of... If not terrorism, what do u call it?

Why would your media not report the truth about the whole issue? Why would u be biased and why cant u stop to think what exactly is happening?

Is violence the answer to all? Couldn't that issue have been solved by PEACE TALKS rather than mass massacre of thousands of helpless people?

We are called 'terrorists' when only a few are.
We are called 'never condemn terrorism' when no one browses through the media of Muslims countries.
Can U B fare enough to SEARCH B4 posting a poll-like-question? How can U generalize?
I hate, loath, despise the fanatics and suicide bombers, but I am not the owner of CNN or CBS to let the world know.
I doubt that al-Jazeera TV Channel is backed by fanatics. They R the only ones who have Bin Laden's video msgs, why? How can they get away with it? May be it is owned by Bin Laden.

Its good enough to answer a question of a person who has earned 13 % of his answeres as best. But despite such an intelligence and knowledge you couldnt do justice to your intellect, as Pual s has rightly ponited out.

I hope you will also read and study the answers put by Prince oo and Thinker.

Do the muslims have such a strong media as you do ? Dont you think that muslims are delibrately alieanated, misrepresented, misquoted as Mr Ramsey has ...........

In his country, religion is put before nation. Whatever ceremoney of national importance is started with religious rituals of Hindus only.e.g. be it Ind. day, repub. day, opening ceremony of games, bridges, banks, schools, or any national project, 'Saraswati vandana, Ganesh vandana' and ritual of smashing a coconut is an integral part, thereby putting Hindu religion before the nation.

And why the Hindus have affinity and loyalty with another Hindu country Nepal ?

Mr Ramsey perhaps deliberatly wants to conceal the facts that it were the muslims majority which fought the 1st war of independence for India and it were the Marratha Hindus who opposed them and helped the Britishers.

For the knowledge of others I can quote 100 'Shlokas' from Vedas which instiagte the capturing of lands of native kings and killing the natives.

" Panchashatkrishna ni vapa sahastratmak na puro janima vidard "--Rigveda[4.16.13]

" Asvapayaddh bheetaye sahastra trishant hathey dasanamindromayaya "--Rigveda [4.30.2]

" Neechavaya abhvadh vritraputendra asya abhvadharjbhar, uttara surdhar putra aseedyanu shaye sehvatsa na dhenu "--Rigveda [1,32.9]

Therefore it will be unjust to blame the muslims only for violence. The history is full of violence if you look at it without a bias.

Who says the Islamic community is so quiet? And certainly not any less quiet than the other religious communities in showing their support for the millions of Muslims in the world who do NOT believe in terrorism. One thing to remember is that most Muslims live quietly and peacefully, just like the rest of us. And, if they are a minority group (as they are in the US, Canada and Europe) I really don't blame some of them for keeping a low profile. It is easy blame all for the actions of a (relatively) few extremists who really have no right to call themselves Muslim, just as there are a few extremist Christians, Jews, etc. who have no right using religion as justification for violence.

I think it's more like they want to distance themselves from the extreme end of their religion and it is an inconvenient truth that some muslims are fundamentalists and use terror to accomplish their goals. Moderate Muslims would help their image a lot by always being the first to come out and condemn terrorist acts by Muslims.

Of course quite.
When you`ll bomb a place or hijack a plane, do you announce your plan, your plot to the newspaper or TV?
Muslim community are few, and plot might be easily foiled.
For pride, they want to succeed even if they are not within the fundamentalist elite group.

the muslims keep quiet because they know that it is the western people are the terrorist under muslims name and doing all the terrorism those westerners are the one like a wolf under a sheep wool so the muslims are unable to do anything eg.palastinians iraqis. understand.

Why do non-muslim never ask themselves the reasons behind the (you called) 'terrorism'. And why they don't understand that the most terrorize country that cost thousand lives and seen everyday in TV (palestinian, iraq, afganistan, etc) was the victim of terrorism too.

Label ling and categorizing people under races or beliefs is a propaganda for allowing discrimination to a group. It is like legalizing mass killing under the head of fighting terrorism, although mass killing is also part of terrorism. It is indeed sad that people have started to colour others as they please.
