go and see your doctor sweetie, every one here can try to guess and give you their opinion, but they cant see you nor find out about your health, history and lifestyle.

If it affecting you as much as it sounds to me, you really should go to your doctor, even if he just puts your mind at rest and gives you some healthy lifestyle advise.

Well loading up on sugar will give you a temporary boost, but you'll quickly take a nose-dive and feel tired. You'll want to take in complex carbohydrates- whole grain bagels are quick and easy! and some fresh fruit wouldn't hurt either.

The thing that sucks is that your age group actually has an internal clock (look up info on circadian rhythms) that's geared to late bed times and waking up late mornings. So unfortunately, you can't change when your body feels like it SHOULD be sleeping. Best you can do is make sure you're taking in plenty of high-energy nutrients and stay away from sugar as much as possible.

If you're chronically tired and find it difficult to be attentive during the day, you may have some more serious problems like narcolepsy, depression or malnutrition.

It could be nutritional. Eat a balanced diet, don't drink soda - bc you can have a drop in blood sugar which will tire you out. Try whole grain cereal in the a.m. with an egg or yogurt on the side. You need protein to feel alert. Don't eat junk food. Take a good multivitamin with minerals. Exercise for at least 30 min. per day.

Maybe you are sick and need to be seen by your Doc. They will take blood and do a physical to make sure nothing is wrong. It could also be mono which is common in teens. If you have mono, you should not exercise until a Dr. clears you. Any unusual tiredness is a sign you need to go to a Dr.

Suggestions for breakfast-
Nestle wholegrain cereal - shreddies, mini shreddies or variety pack.
Organic or Channel Island (gold top) milk.
unrefined golden granulated sugar -not the white stuff.
Marmite on granary bread toast.
any oat cereal -by far the best.
a yeast supplement
a multivitamin supplement (while u still can)
mackerel with granary bread & butter (weekends)

Keep your bedtime the same 9 hours sleep is excellent, but for the 45 mins before you go to bed do quiet things, like read, rather than watch tv or pc.

if people would exercise more they would not have to worry so darn much about food...Are you really serious about doing this? We are talking about hard work. Putting down your little debbies, getting off your butt and not only going on a diet but EXERCISING!!! Even if you lose the weight it will come right back if you do not have the desire and motivation to not only look cute but to be healthy. it is going to take alot of inner strength I can assure you of that.

1.) eat 4-5 small meals a day

2.) drink lots of water

3.)exercise every day

4.) do not eat 4-6 hours before you sleep.

When I go through periods of feeling tired I take a course of Pharmaton capsules. They really do seem to help.

frosties are a sugar coated cereal right? well the tired you're experiencing is probably a crash
try having an apple or or something to that extent...its probably what you're eating not when

yes
plus the amount of sleep you get
plus the other nutrients you are consuming
plus motivation

if you are 14 then sorry but puberty may just be working overtime getting you ready for adulthood, growing up is tiring.

it could be stress related, try and take time out for an hour to lie back and listen to music. (Use head phones)

and listen to the words and try to take your mind off things that maybe happening around you that, make you stressed.
