Making a mix CD for travelling and looking for fun regular songs for toddlers like the Beach Boys, Crocodile Rock, Who Let the Dogs Out, etc. Tried the ITUNEs IMIX listings, but not all are appropriate, thought Id get better suggestions here!

Dont' Worry Be Happy
Seasons of Love (from Rent, my daughter's absolute fave song)
Anything by Elvis or the Beatles
Disney songs
Dan Zane, his songs are great and they are not overly cheesy for kid's songs

Good luck!

We've made mix tapes with a lot of 70's music - Grateful Dead, Jackson Browne, Paul Simon, etc. Simon & Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water has some great tunes for kids - Cecilia, Keep the Customer Satisfied, Baby Driver, Why Don't You Write Me, Bye Bye Love.

Before kids I was never a big fan of 60's Motown music but now I enjoy it with the kids. Lots of it is upbeat and apprpriate.

How about Bobby Darin? Splish Splash, Mack the Knife, My Darling Clementine, etc

I would try songs like, the wheels on the bus, the ABC song.. Songs that you remember singing as a kid. Walmart has kids cds in the baby section for toddlers and they're not even 5 dollars.. Or maybe if your children are into a certain show you could download some songs from that one show!! Good luck on your trip

i have found that songs on the Internet for toddlers are limited, i went to wal-mart and purchased a 123 song CD for toddlers for 8.88 it has all kinds of songs like the wheels on the bus, twinkle twinkle little star, if would rather burn the CD go to the store and write down the songs and see if they are on the Internet to be burned.

There is an album by the Chipmunks called Urban Chipmunk that is awesome. I love it even as an adult. They cover / parody real songs, so it's not a lot of kiddie crap.

I used Disney-recorded "children's favorites". Maybe Amazon.com will have it, or The Disney Store.
